Consul General Makes a Presentation on the History of American Diplomacy
On October 5, Vladivostok Consul General met with 40 students of one of the leading Vladivostok universities to discuss the history of American diplomacy and the development of Russian-American relations. Following the presentation, students asked dozens of questions about American policy in Iraq, Cold War, current developments in Russian-American relations, terrorism, and NATO. The event provided a great opportunity for the students to learn about American foreign policy from first hand experience and was conducted in an atmosphere of frank and open dialogue.
