Teaching English and American Values Through Movies
On October 25, PAO Bridget Gersten made a presentation for 50 students of the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Far Eastern National University about the recently published CD, American Values through Film, created by Russian and American English teachers with the assistance of the English Language Office in the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. The CD includes lesson plans and numerous tips on using movies to explore and better understand American language, culture, and values.
