American Studies Contest Gets Top Marks From Local Youth

On February 27, Public Affairs Officer Bridget Gersten visited the city of Artyom to preside over a city-wide American Studies contest for school children. After making welcoming remarks, PAO Gersten chaired the jury that judged students' knowledge of U.S. geography, history, politics, and famous citizens. Over 200 children were involved in the event, from grades 1-11. Artyom media publicized the event, including an interview with Bridget Gersten.
