U.S. Consulate General Takes Part in Charity Auction

Participant of the auction chooses the item he wants to aquire.

On December 7, addressing the issue of HIV/AIDS, the U.S. Consulate General in Vladivostok together with its partners and volunteers launched a charity auction in support of HIV-positive children residing in Primorskiy Kray. Most of these children are orphans or live in foster families with very low income. Over 100 unique items were placed at the auction by local businesses and individuals. The Vladivostok business community earnestly responded to the appeal of the auction "Make a Child Smile" and over 150 businessmen and media representatives contributed to the event.
