CIVITAS Eastern Russia Puts Its Coordinators Together in the Russian Far East

RFE Coordinators of the Partnership CIVITAS Eastern Russia at their 4th Annual Meeting in Khabarovsk, April 16 - 19, 2008.

On April 16 - 17, USAID representatives joined participants of the Fourth Annual Conference on the CIVITAS Eastern Russia partnership in Khabarovsk. The conference was devoted to civic education in the Russian Far East (RFE) and the many activities of the partnership -- funded by the U.S. Department of Education through the Center for Civic Education. CIVITAS projects have taken place in five regions of the RFEand were dedicated to developing new teaching materials and methods for Russian and American civic education trainers.
