Vladivostok Think Tanks Confer on U.S. Presidential Election Campaign

On March 11, U.S. Consulate General Vladivostok invited Vladivostok academic and political leaders to participate in a Digital Video Conference (DVC) with Henry Hale, Fulbright Scholar at Russian State University for Humanities and professor at George Washington University. Dr. Hale provided Vladivostok opinion makers and academics with the current state of affairs in the 2008 election campaign, as participants openly discussed advantages and disadvantages of the existing system. PAO Bridget Gersten opened the event and was interviewed by local television channel PTR/Rossiya.
