American Art Inspires Vladivostok Citizens

PAO Gersten gives welcoming remarks at the exhibit opening.

On February 20, U.S. Consul general Tom Armbruster and Public Affairs Officer Bridget Gersten opened the "Impressions of Tamarind" exhibit at the Primorskiy State Gallery in Vladivostok. Art critics and artists who came to the opening remarked that exhibits like "Tamarind" give a glimpse into an artist's view of the world, as well as American artistic life and environment. The exhibit will be on view until March 3, featuring lithographic masterpieces from the Tamarind Institute in New Mexico.
