American Lithography Exhibit Gathers Young Artists

PAO Gersten greets the participants of the masterclass.

On February 28, the Primorye State Picture Gallery hosted a master class dedicated to the art of lithography and etching. The master class was held in conjunction with Vladivostok Consulate's 'Impressions of Tamarind' exhibit, one that showcases lithographic from the renown Tamarind Institute in New Mexcio. Acclaimed Russian Far East artist Gennadiy Kungurov shared his lifelong expertise with a group of young students from Vladivostok arts schools. Using his own artwork and tools, Mr. Kungurov explained the history of printing. PAO Bridget Gersten attended the masterclass and expressed her admiration and support for arts exchanges.
