Vladivostok Consulate Strengthens Relations with Primorye

On December 1, PAO Gersten made an outreach visit to the city of Arsenyev to promote cooperation in culture and education.  Her program included meetings with the city mayor and representatives of the education and culture departments.   Participants discussed projects for the upcoming year and decided to organize a number of joint events for the citizens.   Though Arsenyev is home for just 60,000 people, it is famous around the globe for its helicopters known as ‘Chornaya Akula’ (Black Shark), and a unique circus school ‘Vesyolaya Arena’.  PAO Gersten got an opportunity to enjoy the works of the future helicopter plant engineers and young talents at locals schools.  The visit contributed to mutual understanding and strengthened ties between the Russian Far East and the United States.
