International Art Exhibit Opens in Vladivostok

On July 3, Consul General Tom Armbruster took part in the opening of the 1st International art exhibit/contest of paintings and drawings by young artists from Russia, Korea, China and Japan. The exhibit “Art-Vladivostok” was organized by the Far Eastern State Academy of Arts in Vladivostok, a long time partner of the Consulate in fine arts projects. The exhibit represents a unique opportunity for art school students to demonstrate their work and establish contacts with young artists from other countries. Tom Armbruster wished young talents all the best in their creative work and expressed his wish that the exhibit becomes a regular event with more participants, including from the United States.
