Vladivostok Public Affairs Officer Visits Jewish Autonomous Region
On December 10-12, Vladivostok Public Affairs Officer Bridget Gersten and visiting English Language Specialist Kevin McCaughey visited Birobidzhan, the capital of the Jewish Autonomous Region. During this visit, PAO Gersten met with regional administraion representatives and educational committees to discuss U.S.-Russia cooperation in the field of education. Kevin McCaughey delivered a seminar on the U.S. Presidential Elections for students and teachers from around the region, as well as master classes on English teaching methodology. Kevin McCaughey concluded his program in the Russian Far East in Khabarovsk.
