English Language Seminar in Birobijan Benefits Many
From November 25 – 27, 2008, Vladivostok Senior English Language Fellow Allyson Kellum conducted seminars in Birobijian for students and teachers at the Teacher Retraining Institute and at a local elementary school. Workshops in the capital of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast brought English teachers up to speed with a number of opportunities in international education, nuances of teaching academic writing, and new trends in using technology to improve English language proficiency.
