DVC on Intellectual Property Rights Engages Russian Law Students
On September 26, the Public Affairs Section of U.S. Consulate General Vladivostok organized a DVC with Professor James Chandler, an IIP Speaker in Yekaterinburg. The DVC focused on intellectual property rights (IPR) and their significance in the United States, in Russia, and for the global economy in general. Twenty students from the Law Institute of the Far Eastern State University took part in the DVC. Professor Chandler answered questions from the audience. The TV station PTR covered the event and interviewed U.S. exchange program alumna Professor Prisekina who brought her students to the consulate for this event.
