American Councils Throws Charity Concert to Benefit Orphans
On November 25, Vladivostok Consul General Thomas Armbruster welcomed the participants and fans of a youth rock concert organized by American Councils FLEX Coordinator and FLEX alumnus Maksim Matyunin. In his midnight remarks, the CG stressed the importance of international exchanges and encouraged young students to expand their horizons through opportunities provided by international and home governments. Famous rock band soloist from Listya Travy joined the CG in thanking the organizers for contributing to the lives of the children from remote Primorye orphanages. All funds raised through entrance fee charges will be used to help the orphanage of Nadezhdinskiy Rayon of Primorskiy Kray.
