Vladivostok Consul General Greets a Primorye Forum on Civil Society
On October 27, Vladivostok Consul General Tom Armbruster greeted over 100 participants of a Primorye Civil Society Forum. The event was sponsored by USAID and administered by Management Systems International’s Our Rights Program. The Consul General spoke about the experience the United States has with NGOs, corporate social responsibility, and common challenges that our two countries can solve only with a robust civil society. Approximately 30 journalists representing various media organizations from Primorskiy and Khabarovskiy krays participated in the Forum, using this opportunity to report on the forum as well as interview the CG.
