English Language Workshops in Magadan
Over sixty students and faculty members from Northern State University in Magadan attended a three days of workshops conducted by Senior English Language Fellow Judith Elliott. Workshops featured the history of celebrating Halloween, applying for Universities in the United States, listening skills and the EGE, American customs and traditions, modules from Shaping the Way We Teach English video series. Magadan students and faculty had the opportunity to attend workshops and share Internet sites on methodology and EFL research. English Teaching Forum magazines were distributed to the faculty.
