Consul General Congratulates Far Eastern University Graduates

On June 23, Vladivostok Consul General Tom Armbruster congratulated graduates of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Far East National University (FENU). The largest language school east of the Urals, the Institute is one of the Consulate’s closest partners in implementing public diplomacy projects. Tom Armbruster thanked alumni, students, and faculty for this cooperation and then challenged graduates to demonstrate their high quality educations. At the end of his congratulatory speech, Consul General quizzed graduates about the U.S.-Russian relations and asked one student to provide consecutive translation. The graduates passed the test with flying colors!
