Primorye Region Administration Invites USAID to Present Its Activities in the RFE
The first Far Eastern Interregional Forum of Entrepreneurs took place in Vladivostok on November 9th. The Primorye Region Government invited USAID to present its activities in the Russian Far East (RFE) and introduce more than 500 Forum participants to the Agency's key areas of technical assistance in the regions. Having clarified the lessons learned and long-term results of the programs implemented in the RFE, in their Presentation "USAID multi-year experience in implementing technical assistance programs as a resource for regional development". Andrew Kiseliov and Irina Lindberg from USAID stressed the importance of the on-going projects within the Global Development Alliance (GDA), and invited local businesses and governments to participate in such programs as has been the case in the Western Russia.
