Vladivostok Consul General and Public Affairs Officer Meet with IREX Alumni
On September 28, Vladivostok Consul General Tom Armbruster and Public Affairs Officer Bridget Gersten met with IREX alumni to discuss the issues of the nexus between language and culture. PAO Gersten made a presentation on the topic, and then alumni exchanged experiences. Over 25 alumni of exchange programs and 30 students from local university attended the event and had an opportunity to discuss culture bumps emerging when representatives of different cultures communicate with each other.
