Consulate Highlights U.S. Government  Support of the Vladivostok International Jazz Festival

During a special October 28 briefing arranged by the Primorskiy Kray Philarmonic Concert hall, Vladivostok Consul General Tom Armbruster and Public Affairs Officer Sylva Etian briefed the local public, musicians, and journalist on the Consulate’s collaboration with Russian partners to organize and launch the Sixth International Jazz Festival. Thanks to the long-term partnership between the U.S. Consulate, the regional Administration and the concert hall, three jazz musicians – Brett Garsed, Ric Fierabracci and Marco Minnemann – will perform the last concert of the festival. Two of the largest regional TV companies  (OTV Prim and PTR interviewed the Consul General and Public Affairs Officer regarding their support of the festival, American jazz in general, and  other cultural programs sponsored by the Consulate.
