On October 9, Vladivostok Public Affairs Officer Bridget Gersten met with 30 patrons of the Khabarovsk American Corner, making a presentation on the nexus between language and culture. The audience included local university students, professors of English, and alumni of American exchange programs. Participants had a chance to discuss cultural misunderstandings that emerge when representatives of different cultures communicate with each other.
