Jewish Autonomous Region Teachers and Faculty Members Gather in Birobidzhan for a Two-Day Workshop
On October 12-13, English Language Specialist Michael Krauss and Senior English Language Fellow Judith Elliott conducted a series of workshops on computer-assisted English teaching and gave demonstration lessons on higher education in the US using the American Potpourri series, produced by PAS Moscow’s English Language Office, along with web site information on scholarships for international students. Over 35 teachers from villages throughout the Jewish Autonomous region had a unique opportunity to participate in workshops led by recognized and experienced professionals in English language teaching.
