American and Udege Writers Inspire Vladivostok to Read the Stories of Indigenous Peoples of Russia and the United States

On October 1, a U.S. writer and a Fulbright scholar from Alaska Carolyn Kremers together with the Udege writer from Khabarovsk Konstantin Beldy represented their non-fiction books on indigenous people of Russian Far East and Alaska to the audience of the biggest annual 3-day book fair in Vladivostok called ‘Pechatny Dvor’ and organized by Primorye regional Gorkiy library.  The presentation was coordinated by American corner with the support of the US Consulate General in Vladivostok.  Dozens of visitors got an opportunity to enjoy the live presentation ceremony while thousands of Primorye citizens watched it in the local TV news by TNT Vladivostok.
