Images of UNESCO World Heritage Sites Continue Their Tour of Primorye
On June 18, Vladivostok Pol/Econ Officer Stephen Kovacsics opened an exhibit of Tom Till’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites photos In Lesozavodsk, Primorye. Dozens of landscape images featuring national parks and historical sites from the United States and around the globe inspired attendees to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds them. Lesozavodsk Mayor Nikolay Vorobyov stressed the significance of the exhibit for the city and its contribution to mutual understanding between Russia and the United States. One of the guests noted that the photos reminded her “that all of us are children of one planet that we are all responsible for, and that even minor damage is a huge loss for mankind.”
