One-Day Conference Attracts Teachers from Every School in Nakhodka
On November 3rd, Senior English Language Fellow Allyson Kellum presented three sessions on teaching young learners (from Shaping the Way We Teach English), the presidential election, and using the Internet. 85 local teachers and students were excited at the opportunity to have the opportunity to talk to a native speaker and discuss new ideas for their classrooms, and learn about possibilities for students to have exposure to other foreigners online via blogs, podcasts, etc.
