Open World Photo Exhibit is Launched in Vladivostok
On September 17, Consul General Armbruster opened a photo exhibit "Russian America" created by prominent Vladivostok photographer Svetlana Landysheva after her participation in the Open World program in summer 2007. CG stressed the exhibit was another bright event in celebrating 200 anniversary of U.S.- Russian diplomatic relations and Landysheva's photos highlighted deep historical connection between two nations. The exhibit was opened as a special event of Vladivostok 5th International Film Festival Pacific Meridian and attracted movie stars, filmmakers, local VIPs and journalists.
