Pacific Coalition Conference Held in Vladivostok
On August 25-27, the Pacific Coalition on the housing sector reform implementation assistance in the Far Eastern federal district organized a three-day conference devoted to lessons learned from three years of USAID-funded activities within the “Dialogue” program that is administered by IREX. Also, this conference presented results of USAID-funded project “East-West” which aimed to assess the housing issues in the RFE and Zabaikalye as requested by the Public Chamber of Russia and Ministry of Regional Development.
In their greetings, Acting Consul General Patricia Miller and USAID representative in the RFE Irina Lindberg welcomed the conference participants who came to share their experiences from different regions of the Russian far East and from Moscow, and thanked the Pacific Coalition – the largest of this kind in Russia - for their contribution to NGOs’ network development by advocating for common causes and informing citizens about policy choices.
