Participants of All-Russia Summer School Discuss International Security and Political Trust in Vladivostok
On June 29, Vladivostok Pol/Econ officer Stephen Kovacsics greeted participants of the 5th All-Russia Summer School for university students studying International Affairs. Also making welcoming remarks were representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Vladivostok office, the NATO Public Diplomacy Office, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. The program is organized by Vladivostok’s Far Eastern National University with the support of NATO’s Public Diplomacy Programs department. During the course of 5 days, 29 students from throughout Russia will have a chance to debate and discuss issues related to security in the Asia-Pacific Region, including NATO-Russia cooperation, with foreign diplomats, academics, and each other.
