On November 22, PTR, the local affiliate of the Rossiya channel, broadcast a television report on Thanksgiving celebrations in Vladivostok. Consul General Armbruster and Public Affairs Officer Gersten told the local audience about the origin of and philosophy behind this family holiday, how it is celebrated in America, and gave some kitchen tips on preparing favorite foods. PTR aired the report several times on its evening and morning news programs.
