Participants of Training for Trainers-4 Focus on the Ways to Protect Victims of Domestic Violence

On October 29, 2007, the American Bar Association/Rule of Law Initiative (ABA/ROLI) office in Vladivostok conducted the fourth day of the Training for the Trainers (TOT 4) Program, under the auspices of the USAID-funded Traveling Lawyer Program. Irina Lindberg, USAID Program Representative in the Russian Far East, joined the participants for the event aimed at giving local attorneys information from various areas that would help to protect victims of domestic violence. TOT 4 was devoted to the rules of Criminal Procedural Law and the development of persuasive complaints and motions to the law enforcement agencies and judge, strategies that can be used to protect domestic violence victims. Interactive teaching skills and agendas preparation will assist the participants in their field trips to the Primorsky region.
