Envoy Program
September 1-20, 2008
Joint project between US Department of State (US Consulate General in Vladivostok), Far Eastern State Academy of Arts, Gorkiy Drama Theater, University of Colorado in Boulder. The goal of the program is to produce a joint, non-commercial student musical in Vladivostok to support talented Russian youth and strengthen cultural ties through professional and student exchanges.
6th International Film Festival "Pacific Meridian"
September 13-19, 2008
Independent American film makers Adrian Belic, Ralph Leighton and Ed Artis and a Tuvan throat singer Kongar-ool Ondar will visit Vladivostok during the festival with their documentaries ‘Beyond the Call’ and ‘Genghis Blues’.
