International Forum on Strategic Planning in the Regions of Russia
On September 25-27, 2009, Primorye Regional Authorities, Vladivostok City Administration and USAID officers welcomed organizers and participants of the 6th International Forum on Strategic Planning in the Cities and Regions of Russia entitled “Russian Far East in the Post Crisis World.” The forum was supported and hosted by the Far Eastern National University in Vladivostok, Russian Economic Developers Association and Interregional Association "Far East and Zabaikalye." The head of the Primorye Legislative Committee Victor Gorchakov, Vladivostok City Mayor Igor Pushkarev, experts from ICSER Leontief Centre of Saint-Petersburg and many others shared their thoughts on the perspectives for RFE development in light of the current world economic crisis, on-going migration from the territories of the RFE regions, and upcoming APEC-2012 summit.
