USAID-Funded "Our Rights" Program Grantees Report on Their First Achievements
On October 1, USAID Program Representative in the Russian Far East Irina Lindberg and Pol/Econ Officer Daniel Kronenfeld joined representatives of several Primorskiy Kray NGOs to discuss effective implementation of grant programs and opportunities for NGOs to collaborate with business, media, and government authorities on small grant and legal assistance programs. At the event, which was put on by Management Systems International under the "Our Rights" program in Vladivostok, participants presented initial results from their grants programs and highlighted their achievements and concerns with respect to advocacy and community participation in the region.
