Consul General Takes Part in the Opening of a Wood Processing Factory in Primorye

On August 14, Consul General Tom Armbruster and FCS Vladivostok representative participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for six American Nova dry kilns for engineered lumber at a local wood processing factory.  “Velink” is based in the village of Varfolomeyevka, some 200 kilometers to the north of Vladivostok. Local rayon and municipal officials attended the ceremony speaking about the great importance of the enterprise for the economic and social development of the district.  The unique high quality wood drying kilns are known for their quality, longevity, efficiency, and simplicity.  By assisting the Russian partners to obtain financing, CS Vladivostok helped Nova Dry Kiln make a major $500,000 sale by signing contracts with various financial institutions including Delta Leasing Vladivostok, a financial company with 100% U.S. capital.
