Wet Paint:  U.S. Consulate Supports Vladivostok Art Community

On August 6, U.S. Consulate's long term partners, Primorye State Picture Gallery and Far Eastern Academy of Arts, united in an artistic alliance and opened a joint exhibit of Vladivostok artists in the historic building of the Primorye Gallery that is still under reconstruction.  Acting Public Affairs Officer Jeff Rotering gave welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony.  The ceremony attracted numerous guests and media and served as a great opportunity to promote friendship between Russia and the United States as well as a vivid demonstration of the artistic and human resources of the Russian Far East.
